This is a small round canopy in a bright chrome finish, made to sit at the top of a single pendant drop and give the flex a clean point of exit. It is 10cm across and shallow in depth, so it reads as a neat disc against the ceiling rather than a raised block. There is nothing electrical about it and it takes no lamp of its own; the light comes from the fitting below, and the canopy simply tidies what happens above it.

We reach for this where a lone pendant hangs over a kitchen island, a breakfast bar, a hallway or a bedside, and the standard cover that came with the light looks bulkier than the flex deserves. It suits plain modern rooms, and because chrome sits happily alongside brushed steel taps, glass and pale paint, it tends to disappear into a scheme rather than compete with it.
