Description

The Elsa is a 25cm spherical glass pendant light with a dual-layer shade: a translucent gold outer shell wraps around a frosted inner diffuser that houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately). The gold outer layer catches and reflects ambient light while the frosted inner layer softens the bulb's output, creating a warm diffused glow rather than direct downlight.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls where ambient light is needed without glare, the Elsa works equally well as a solo pendant or in clusters of two or three hung at staggered heights. The 2350mm cable drop is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to be positioned 600-800mm above a surface depending on ceiling height. The E27 lampholder accepts LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to the recommended wattage, giving flexibility over colour temperature and light output.

The gold finish on the outer glass shade sits somewhere between a warm metallic tone and a semi-transparent amber tint, so it pairs comfortably with both brass metalwork and warmer wood finishes. The frosted inner diffuser hides the bulb filament completely when viewed from any angle, maintaining a clean spherical silhouette whether the light is on or off. At 1.27kg the pendant has enough weight to hang straight on the cable without additional support hardware.

Is the Elsa dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulb you fit and the dimmer switch. The pendant itself is compatible with dimmable E27 LED or halogen bulbs, but you must pair them with a compatible dimmer to control brightness. Non-dimmable bulbs fitted with a dimmer may flicker or fail.

What bulb does it take?

The Elsa takes a standard E27 Edison screw bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or lounge lighting.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The 2350mm cable drop is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be shortened to suit different ceiling heights. Once installed, the cable is fixed at the chosen length.

Can multiple Elsa pendants be hung together?

Yes. The Elsa works well in clusters of two or three hung at staggered heights over a kitchen island or dining table. Space them 400-600mm apart for balanced coverage without overcrowding.
