Description

The Eloria is a 700mm table lamp built around a stacked column of natural Spanish alabaster, set on a circular brass-trimmed base and topped with a 380mm grey shade with a brushed brass finial. Three stepped alabaster sections form the body, separated by polished brass collars, with a slim brass stem rising from the top section to support the shade. Twin E27 lamp holders with pull-cord switches sit beneath the shade.

Designed for console tables, sideboards and bedside use where a substantial decorative lamp is wanted, the Eloria suits living rooms, hallways and primary bedrooms. The twin E27 sockets give a brighter combined output than a single-bulb lamp, which makes it useful as a primary light source on a console rather than purely accent lighting. The pull-cord switches operate each lamp independently, allowing one or both bulbs to be lit depending on the level needed.

Each alabaster section is cut from natural stone, so the veining, soft grey tonal shifts and translucency vary between individual lamps. The stepped progression of the column, combined with the brass collars between sections, gives the body an architectural, tiered profile rather than a single tapered form. The grey drum shade has a smooth PVC surface and crisp top and bottom edges, balancing the visual weight of the stone column without competing with it.

What bulbs does the Eloria take?

The lamp has two E27 (Edison screw) lamp holders, each operated by its own pull-cord switch. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K to complement the natural alabaster tone.

Does each alabaster lamp look the same?

No. Each section is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, grey tonal variation and translucency differ between individual lamps. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.

Where does the Eloria work best?

At 700mm tall with a 380mm shade, the Eloria suits console tables in hallways, sideboards in living rooms, and larger bedside tables in primary bedrooms. The twin-bulb arrangement gives enough output for use as a main light source rather than accent lighting only.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
