Description

The Ellen is a 410mm crystal table lamp built around a shallow dished shade in satin nickel, with multiple faceted crystal buttons secured in concentric rings across the underside. A curved satin nickel arm extends from a weighted circular base, suspending the shade at a slight forward angle. The single G9 bulb sits inside the dished shade, casting light down through the crystal buttons and reflecting off the metal interior.

Designed for bedside tables, desks and console surfaces where ambient downlight is needed without flooding the room, the Ellen provides task-level illumination within a 1-1.5m radius of the base. The 230mm length and 175mm width of the shade give enough coverage for reading at a desk or bedside without the lamp requiring a large footprint — the base measures approximately 120mm diameter. The weighted base provides stability on flat surfaces without needing to be clamped or fixed.

The satin nickel finish on both the shade and frame resists fingerprints and sits comfortably in cooler-toned interiors with chrome, stainless steel or brushed aluminium fixtures. Each crystal button is individually set into the metal framework rather than glued, preventing them from loosening over time. The lamp accepts any G9 capsule bulb up to 33W, with most users pairing it with a 3-5W LED in warm white (2700K-3000K) for bedside use or a cooler 4000K for task lighting at a desk.

How is the shade angled?

The curved arm suspends the shade at a slight forward tilt, directing light downward and outward in front of the base. The angle is fixed and cannot be adjusted after installation.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulb to cool. Wipe the crystal buttons with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal framework or using chemical sprays.
