This glazed ceramic mug is drawn with a single elephant, its tusks curving and its trunk raised towards the handle, in fine pale lines against a soft grey body. It is a wax resistant mug, and the elephant reads clearly in pale cream, with every wrinkle of its skin and fold of its ears picked out in close line work. A matching pale band runs around the base, framing the drawing and giving the whole piece an earthy, grounded look.
