The Elena is a 400mm crystal table lamp with a polished chrome circular base and a central column hand-wrapped in clear Asfour crystal sheet, featuring a faceted crystal sphere at the mid-point. The lamp accepts one E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately) and is sold without a shade, allowing the shade to be chosen separately to match room furnishings. The crystal column is wrapped in overlapping sections that catch and refract light when the lamp is switched on.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables in hallways, and side tables in living rooms, the Elena provides a compact 180mm diameter footprint that suits narrower surfaces without dominating the space. The concealed in-line switch sits on the cable rather than the lamp body, keeping the polished chrome and crystal form uninterrupted. The lamp works with standard UK fabric or card lampshades with an E27 fitting ring or gimbal attachment.

The Asfour crystal used in the column and sphere is K9 optical crystal cut with a faceted surface that refracts ambient and internal light into the surrounding space. The polished chrome base and top fittings provide structural support and a reflective accent that pairs well with both traditional and contemporary interiors. At 2.1kg the lamp has enough weight to remain stable when a lightweight shade is fitted, but is still portable enough to be repositioned easily.

Does the lamp come with a shade?

No. The Elena is sold as a base only, allowing you to choose a shade separately. It accepts standard UK lampshades with an E27 fitting ring or gimbal attachment. Shades are available separately at Niori.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The lamp itself does not include dimming electronics, so dimming capability depends entirely on the bulb and wall switch or plug-in dimmer used.

What bulb does it take?

The lamp takes one E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for bedside or living room use.

What shade size suits this lamp?

The 180mm base diameter and 400mm total height work well with shades between 200-300mm diameter and 150-250mm height. A shade larger than 300mm diameter may look disproportionate on the base.
