Description

The Elaris is a 630mm table lamp built around a solid black marble slab divided by a vertical brushed brass bar that runs from the stepped brass base up through the body to the lamp head. A slim brass stem then continues to a rectangular white PVC shade, giving a layered architectural profile measuring 400mm wide and 200mm deep at the base. A single E27 socket sits inside the shade.

Designed for console tables, sideboards and bedside use where a sculptural rather than purely functional lamp is wanted, the Elaris suits living rooms, hallway consoles and primary bedrooms. The 400 x 200mm footprint sits comfortably on most console tables of 800mm depth or greater, and the 630mm height places the shade at a typical sitting eye-level when used on a 450mm side table next to a sofa or armchair.

The natural black marble shows fine veining and tonal variation across each slab, so no two bases are identical. The brushed brass frame, base and stem are colour-matched and pair the warmth of brass against the cool black stone and crisp white linen-look shade. The stepped base lifts the marble visually and adds weight to keep the lamp stable when the shade is brushed past or knocked.

The lamp uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K suits the bedside and living-room use the lamp is designed for. Maximum wattage should be confirmed against the rating label on the lamp before fitting.

Is the marble base natural stone?

Yes. The base is solid black marble, so each piece shows different veining, mineral patterning and tonal variation. This is a feature of natural stone rather than a defect, and means each Elaris lamp differs slightly.

How big is the lamp?

The Elaris stands 630mm tall, with a 400mm wide and 200mm deep base. The footprint suits console tables, sideboards and larger bedside tables. It is too large for narrow 300mm-deep side tables.

How is the marble cleaned?

Wipe with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, vinegar or chemical cleaners as these can etch the marble surface.
