Description
The Edna is a 5-light cluster pendant built around five tubular aluminium rods, each finished in matt black with a glossy gold tip housing an integrated LED and opal diffuser. The rods suspend from a round matt black canopy on individual cables, allowing each rod to rotate freely and be positioned at different heights. The combined 25W LED output delivers 2,250 lumens at 3000K, providing warm white light across a kitchen island, dining table or stairwell void.
Each rod measures approximately 43cm in length and can be set at any height within the maximum 200cm drop, creating asymmetric configurations or parallel lines depending on installation preference. The canopy sits flush to the ceiling using gravity-lock toggles, and the included RF remote control adjusts brightness across the full dimming range using a TRIAC/0-10V driver. The pendant is rated IP20 for dry indoor environments and carries a Class 1 electrical rating, requiring an earth connection.
The contrast between matt black aluminium bodies and glossy gold tips gives the Edna a two-tone finish that works in both minimalist and more decorative interiors. The gold end caps catch and reflect ambient daylight when the pendant is off, and glow warm amber when the LEDs are on. At 4.25kg total weight, the pendant requires a ceiling rose or junction box capable of supporting the full assembly. The opal diffusers inside the gold tips soften the LED point sources, preventing glare when viewed from below.

Frequently Asked
How is the dimming controlled?
The Edna includes an RF remote control that communicates with the integrated TRIAC/0-10V driver. Brightness can be adjusted across the full dimming range without needing to wire in a wall dimmer switch. The remote operates on radio frequency, so it does not require line-of-sight to the pendant.
Can the rod heights be adjusted after installation?
Yes. Each of the five rods hangs on an individual cable that can be shortened or lengthened during installation by adjusting the cable grips inside the canopy. Once the canopy is fixed to the ceiling, the rods can still rotate on their cables but the drop heights remain set until the canopy is removed and the cables re-adjusted.
What ceiling height is needed?
The maximum drop is 200cm, which suits ceiling heights of 2.6m or above when the pendant is hung over a kitchen island or dining table. For lower ceilings, the cables can be shortened during installation to reduce the overall drop.
Is the LED replaceable?
No. The LEDs are integrated into the aluminium rods and are not user-serviceable. The rated lifespan is typically 25,000-30,000 hours, which equates to around 10-15 years of typical residential use at 5-6 hours per day.
