Description

The Eclipseax is an 18cm diameter outdoor LED wall light with three circular diffuser panels recessed into a grey metal disc, each casting a halo of warm 3000K light onto the wall surface. An integrated 9W LED sits behind each circular panel, producing a total output that spreads as indirect wash light rather than forward projection. The IP54 rating protects the internals against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction.

Designed for exterior walls on patios, driveways, front entrances and courtyard boundaries, the Eclipseax works where ambient marker light is needed rather than direct task illumination. The three circular halos create a visual pattern on the wall surface after dark, turning the fitting itself into an architectural detail. At 18cm diameter the light sits comfortably on 20-30cm wide pillars, beside doorways, or in groups of two or three along boundary walls.

The grey metal body is powder-coated for UV and weathering resistance, suited to year-round outdoor exposure in the UK climate. The non-dimmable 9W LED runs at 3000K, giving a warm white tone that sits between golden yellow and neutral white. The combined weight and mounting plate give the fitting stability on masonry, rendered walls and timber cladding when installed with appropriate fixings. Can this be used in exposed coastal areas?

The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashes but does not provide full waterproof sealing. For coastal locations with salt spray exposure, consider a wall position under an eave or soffit where the fitting has some overhead protection.
