Description

The Eclipsea is an 805mm chrome bar wall light with eight E14 bulb fittings spaced evenly along a horizontal rail. Each globe sits on a short cylindrical socket that projects 40mm from the wall, creating a row of individual light sources rather than a continuous strip. The chrome-plated metal frame gives a polished, reflective finish that pairs with hallway runs and dressing room mirrors.

Designed for spaces needing distributed task or ambient light along a length, the Eclipsea suits long hallways where a single ceiling fitting would leave dark zones, and home bar areas or commercial reception desks. The eight E14 fittings allow for incremental dimming when paired with compatible LED bulbs and a dimmer switch, giving control over light intensity from bright task lighting to softer ambient glow.

The chrome finish shows fingerprints and water marks more readily than brushed or matt finishes, so the Eclipsea benefits from regular wiping in high-traffic areas. The shallow 40mm projection keeps the fixture close to the wall, making it suitable for narrow hallways or above vanities where deeper wall lights would intrude into the usable space. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

Frequently Asked

What bulbs does the Eclipsea take?

The fixture takes eight E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W LED golf ball or candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for hallway use. The bulbs are visible, so decorative filament or globe styles work well.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable E14 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Not all LED bulbs dim smoothly, so check the bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchase.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

How is the chrome finish maintained?

Polished chrome shows fingerprints and water marks. Wipe regularly with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, then dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or household sprays that can damage the chrome plating.
