Description

The Eclipsa is a 15cm square surface-mounted downlight in black metal with a single GU10 bulb fitting. The fitting mounts flush to the ceiling with a 150mm cubic profile and directs light downward through a recessed aperture, creating a focused beam suitable for task lighting or accent lighting in residential and commercial spaces.

Designed for rooms with insufficient ceiling void depth for recessed downlights, the Eclipsa surface-mounts to standard plasterboard or concrete ceilings and requires only a ceiling rose connection rather than a cut-out. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments such as living rooms, dining areas, hallways, offices and retail spaces. The single GU10 socket accepts any standard GU10 LED or halogen bulb up to 50W (sold separately), with bulb wattage determining the brightness and beam angle.

The black powder-coated metal housing measures 150mm square and projects 150mm from the ceiling, giving the fitting a substantial geometric presence that works in both contemporary and industrial interiors. The matt black finish reduces glare when the fitting is wall-mounted or positioned where the housing is visible from below. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible GU10 dimmable bulb and a trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer switch rated for the bulb type in use.
