The Eclipsa is a 9cm round surface-mount downlight with a matt black cylindrical body and an adjustable GU10 lamp holder inside. The fitting mounts directly to the ceiling without requiring a recessed cut-out, making it suitable for ceilings where recessed installation is not possible or where surface-mounted fittings are preferred for aesthetic reasons. The lamp holder tilts within the cylindrical housing, allowing the light beam to be angled to highlight specific areas or to avoid glare.

Designed for kitchens, hallways, retail spaces and offices, the Eclipsa provides focused downlight where uniform ceiling illumination or wall-washing is needed. The 9cm diameter and low-profile cylindrical form suit contemporary interiors without dominating the ceiling plane. The adjustable GU10 holder accepts any standard GU10 LED, halogen or CFL bulb (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose beam angle, colour temperature and wattage to match the room's function.

The matt black metal body minimises ceiling reflections and pairs with black window frames, kitchen fixtures and modern minimalist interiors. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations. The Eclipsa is dimmable when paired with a dimmable GU10 bulb and an appropriate dimmer switch — check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before pairing.

No. The Eclipsa is a surface-mount downlight that fixes directly to the ceiling surface. This makes it suitable for solid ceilings, thin ceilings without void space, or where recessed fittings cannot be installed.

Is the lamp holder adjustable?

Yes. The GU10 lamp holder tilts within the cylindrical housing, allowing the beam to be angled to highlight specific areas, walls or objects rather than pointing straight down.

What bulb does it take?

The Eclipsa takes a standard GU10 bulb (sold separately). Most users pair this with a GU10 LED between 4-7W and 3000K-4000K depending on whether warm or neutral white light is needed.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. For bathrooms, an IP44 or IP65 rated fitting is required.
