Description

This Easter bunny decoration sets a pink felt rabbit in a little woven flower basket, ready to bring a touch of spring to a shelf or sill. The basket has a natural, straw-coloured weave and a tall arched handle that gives the whole piece the outline of an egg. Soft pink blossoms sit at the top of the handle and on the rim, while a peach flower and pale green sprigs gather at the front. The basket stands on a strip of green grass-effect base, so the bunny looks as if it has hopped in for a rest. It is made from plastic and felt, and stands 26.6cm tall, 21.9cm across and 7.3cm deep.

We think it looks its best where it can be seen from the front: on a mantelpiece, a kitchen windowsill, a hall console or the middle of the Easter table. At just 7.3cm deep it fits narrow ledges and bookshelves that a bulkier decoration would crowd, and its 26.6cm height gives it enough presence to hold its own beside a vase of daffodils or a bowl of painted eggs. It also makes a cheerful Easter gift, easy to wrap and simple to bring out again each spring.
