Description

The Tri-Diamond shape gives this decorative E27 lamp a faceted, many-sided outline rather than the usual round profile, and at 16cm tall it has enough presence to be part of the fitting rather than hidden inside it. The light is amber and very warm indeed, at 2100K nearer candlelight or an old filament than a modern warm white. It draws only 4W and it dims, though it needs a dimmer suited to LED lamps to behave properly.

We would put this where the lamp is on show: open cage pendants, bare-flex clusters over an island, a run of ceiling hooks, or a lantern with clear panes. The amber tone flatters brick, timber and dark paint, and it settles a room down of an evening rather than lighting it for close work, so it suits snugs, bedrooms, stairwells and hallways more than a desk or a worktop. It is one we suggest to customers fitting out a bar or a small dining room, where several lamps hung at staggered heights read as one soft glowing line. Turned down low it holds its colour and the facets stay legible.

The faceted body carries its amber finish throughout, so the colour is there whether the lamp is lit or cold, and the screw cap suits any standard E27 holder. To clean it, switch off, let it lose its heat, then work over the facets with a dry brush or a soft cloth; nothing damp, and no sprays near the cap. It carries a three year warranty.
