Description

This is a small candle lamp with the gently tapered tip of a traditional candle bulb, given a frosted finish so the light spreads softly instead of throwing hot spots across a shade. It draws 4W and returns 470 lumens, and at 2700K the colour is a warm white with a faint golden cast, the sort of light that flatters a dining room in the evening. It is not dimmable, so it belongs on a plain switch. The E14 cap is the smaller screw fitting.

We use lamps like this in chandeliers, candelabra pendants and small wall lights, where several of them share the work and the frosting keeps each one from glaring back at you. It suits bedside lamps and hallway fittings too, and anywhere the bulb sits in plain view behind a shallow shade.
