Description

The Dusit is a 325mm crystal table lamp base built around a vertical stack of precision-cut crystal blocks mounted on a silver-finish metal plinth. Five cube-shaped crystal elements sit one above the other on a central metal column, each block catching and reflecting light from multiple facets. The lamp base ships without a shade, allowing the crystal column to be paired with a shade chosen separately to suit the room.

Designed for bedside tables, sideboards, console tables and desk surfaces where a decorative accent is needed without taking up significant footprint, the Dusit occupies a 100mm-diameter circular base. The inline switch sits on the clear cable approximately 1m from the base, allowing the lamp to be switched on and off without reaching behind furniture. The E14 fitting accepts candle-style bulbs up to 60W, with dimmable LED bulbs recommended for full dimmer compatibility.

The crystal blocks are cut with flat facets rather than rounded surfaces, giving each cube defined edges that create sharp light reflections when the bulb is on. The silver-finish metal base and column provide structural support while keeping visual weight low, so the crystal remains the focal element. At 1.3kg the lamp sits securely on most surfaces without needing additional weighting. The Dusit pairs with traditional, contemporary and transitional interiors where a hint of sparkle is wanted without full chandelier-style embellishment.

The lamp is part of a wider Dusit range that includes pendant, wall and floor lamp versions using the same stacked-crystal design language. Shades are sold separately — Diyas produces a matching pleated silk shade (ILS20232) that suits the proportions of this base, but any E14-compatible shade with a suitable diameter can be fitted.

The lamp takes a single E14 (small Edison screw) candle-style bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W LED candle bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for soft ambient light.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use a dimmable E14 bulb and pair the lamp with a compatible dimmer switch or trailing-edge dimmer module on the mains circuit. Not all E14 LED bulbs dim smoothly, so check bulb compatibility before purchasing.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Wipe the crystal blocks with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works well. Avoid spraying household glass cleaner directly onto the crystal, as overspray can damage the metal fittings or cable.
