Description

The Durban is a 35cm linear LED wall light built around an open rectangular frame in matt black powder-coated aluminium, with an integrated 10W 3000K LED strip running along one vertical edge of the frame. The LED casts 780 lumens through a 60° beam angle, creating a wash of warm white light across the adjacent wall surface while the open frame itself acts as a geometric shadow element.

Designed for hallways, landings, bedroom accent walls and beside-bed positions, the Durban can be mounted vertically (as shown) or rotated 90° for horizontal installation. The 35cm height suits single-fixture installations in narrow hallways or side-of-door positions, and multiples can be staggered vertically or horizontally to build layered compositions on feature walls. The 120mm projection from the wall gives the fitting physical presence without encroaching into tight circulation spaces.

The matt black finish on the aluminium frame absorbs rather than reflects ambient light, so the fitting reads as a dark geometric object during the day and a glowing linear accent when switched on. At 0.55kg the wall plate and frame are light enough to mount on plasterboard with standard fixings. The non-dimmable driver is integrated into the back plate and runs on 100-250V mains, compatible with UK, EU and international voltage ranges without requiring a separate transformer.
