The Dune is a 45cm flush ceiling light with six E14 bulb positions arranged around a circular polished gold metal frame, from which two tiers of rectangular clear crystal drops cascade in concentric rings. The 25cm overall height from ceiling to lowest crystal means it fits rooms with ceiling heights from 2.3m upwards without occupying the headroom a traditional suspended chandelier requires.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and primary bedrooms where ceiling height limits the use of a pendant chandelier, the Dune provides decorative crystal light in a compact vertical profile. The two-tier crystal arrangement creates depth and movement as light refracts through the faceted glass, while the flush mount keeps the fitting close to the ceiling plane. The six bulb positions deliver distributed illumination across the 45cm frame diameter rather than a single central light source.

The polished gold finish on the metal frame reflects warm tones and pairs with both classical interiors and warm-toned contemporary schemes. Each crystal drop is individually hung, creating a shimmer effect when lit and subtle movement if disturbed by airflow. Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 25cm total drop from ceiling to lowest crystal makes the Dune appropriate for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.3m upwards. It provides the decorative effect of a chandelier without requiring the headroom clearance a traditional suspended pendant needs.

What bulbs does it take?

The Dune takes six E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each rated up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this fitting with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to create ambient light that enhances the crystal refraction.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs chosen and the dimmer switch type. LED bulbs marked as dimmable will work with most modern LED-compatible dimmers. Standard incandescent or halogen E14 bulbs dim on traditional rotary or slide dimmers.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal drop with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water can be used, but avoid soaking the crystals or allowing water to run into the metal frame or lamp holders.
