Description

The Dune is a 45cm diameter flush ceiling light built around a tiered crystal structure suspended from a polished chrome canopy. Six E14 bulb positions sit within the crystal tiers, which consist of facet-cut clear crystal pieces arranged in three descending circular layers. The 25cm total drop from ceiling to base makes the fitting suitable for rooms with ceiling heights under 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms where ceiling height limits pendant options, the Dune provides the visual presence of a chandelier in a semi-flush format. The chrome canopy mounts directly to the ceiling rose, and the crystal tiers hang below on a fixed steel frame rather than chains. The six E14 bulbs (sold separately) light the crystals from within the structure, causing each facet to refract and multiply the light across the room. In a 4m x 4m living room or bedroom the fitting provides both ambient and decorative light when fitted with warm-white bulbs in the 2700K-3000K range.

The polished chrome frame reflects the crystal light and pairs with both cool-toned contemporary interiors and warmer traditional schemes that use chrome or nickel hardware. Each crystal piece is individually mounted on the metal structure, so the fitting requires careful handling during installation to avoid dislodging pieces. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor rooms only — not suitable for bathrooms or any area where moisture is present.

Yes. The 25cm total drop makes the Dune suitable for rooms with ceiling heights under 2.4m where a pendant chandelier would hang too low. In a room with a 2.3m ceiling the fitting sits well clear of head height.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you fit and the dimmer switch model. LED E14 bulbs labelled as dimmable will work with most modern trailing-edge dimmers. The fitting itself has no electronic components that would prevent dimming.

Can it be used in a bathroom?
