Description

The Duna is an 83cm linear suspension light built around three curved polished chrome arms, each encased in an opal white acrylic diffuser. The chrome arms run in a continuous gentle S-curve across the 830mm length, with each diffuser housing an SGU10 lamp producing 2700K warm white light. The total power draw is 45W across the three lamps, which are included with the fitting.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and breakfast bars between 1.6m and 2m wide, the Duna's linear format distributes light evenly along its length rather than from a single central point. The adjustable drop between 490mm and 720mm allows the fitting to be positioned 700-800mm above a worktop or table surface, depending on ceiling height. The rectangular ceiling plate measures approximately 200mm x 100mm and fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The opal acrylic diffusers soften the light output and prevent glare when seated, while the polished chrome reflects ambient light in the room and adds visual weight to the design without making it feel heavy. The continuous curvature of the chrome frame gives the fitting a sculptural presence that works in both contemporary and transitional interiors. At 3kg total weight, the Duna requires secure ceiling fixings into joists or appropriate ceiling anchors — the fitting is not suitable for plasterboard-only ceilings without reinforcement.
