Description

The Duna is a 470mm curved wall light with a polished chrome segment wrapped in opal acrylic diffusers, housing two GU10 fittings that cast soft ambient light along the wall. The sinuous S-curve of the chrome creates a sculptural presence on the wall, while the white opal acrylic softens the light output and hides the bulb glare entirely.

Designed for living rooms, hallways and dining areas where ambient wall lighting is needed without a harsh direct beam, the Duna sits 110mm off the wall and casts light both upward and downward along the surface. The twin GU10 fittings accept standard GU10 LED bulbs (included CFL lamps can be replaced with LED for longer life and lower running cost). The 470mm width suits walls between 2.4-3m wide, either as a single centrepiece or paired symmetrically on either side of a feature.

The polished chrome finish provides high reflectivity and pairs cleanly with modern, minimalist and monochrome interiors. The opal acrylic diffusers are impact-resistant and the entire fitting weighs 1.5kg once mounted. The Duna is from Mantra, a Spanish lighting manufacturer known for fluid, organic forms in metal and acrylic. The chrome and white combination works in both warm-toned and cool-toned rooms, and the curvature breaks up flat wall expanses in open-plan spaces.

No. The Duna is not compatible with dimmer switches. If dimming is needed, choose a different wall light from the Mantra range that specifies dimmer compatibility.

What wall width does it suit?

The 470mm width works on walls between 2.4-3m wide as a single centrepiece. For wider walls or where symmetry is needed, two Duna lights can be installed on either side of a mirror, artwork or architectural feature.

How is the acrylic cleaned?

The opal acrylic diffusers can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth and a mild household detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can scratch the acrylic surface. The polished chrome can be cleaned with a chrome polish or a damp cloth.
