Description

This white stoneware mug carries Dumbo the little elephant around its sides in a run of happy poses, with a soft grey handle and a grey glaze inside. On one side he soars with his great pink ears spread wide and a tiny mouse riding on his yellow hat; on another he trots along while his small mouse friend leads the way on a line; and near the handle he sits with his trunk raised, a red and yellow ruff around his neck. The artwork wraps the round body in clear, cheerful colour against a gloss white ground. It holds 325ml, a generous cup of tea or coffee, and stands 9.8cm tall and 8.5cm deep, so it sits comfortably in the hand.
