The Dublin is a 182mm semi-flush ceiling light with a pressed glass shade held by a natural brass mount, rated IP44 for bathroom installation. Can this be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating provides protection against splashing water, making the Dublin suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. This covers installation outside shower enclosures and away from direct water jets. It cannot be installed inside a shower enclosure or directly above a bath without a protective barrier.

The Dublin takes one E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 5-8W and 2700K-3000K for general bathroom lighting.

Will the natural brass tarnish?
