Description

The Dryden 2 is a single-light wall bracket in polished brass with a flared clear glass shade and an integrated 3W 3000K LED G9 bulb. The solid brass backplate measures 120mm wide by 120mm deep and supports a 410mm-tall torch-style arm with turned detailing and a traditional silhouette. The clear glass shade sits inside a polished brass rim at the top of the arm, allowing the G9 bulb to be visible through the glass.

Designed for hallways, living rooms and bathrooms, the Dryden 2 carries an IP44 rating making it suitable for zones 2 and 3 in bathrooms where water splashes may occur. The upward-facing glass shade directs light towards the ceiling, creating indirect ambient illumination rather than focused task light. At 410mm height the bracket projects 120mm from the wall, requiring clearance above head height in narrow corridors or stairwells.

The polished brass finish provides a warm yellow-gold tone with high reflectivity, suiting traditional, classical and Georgian-style interiors. The solid brass construction ensures the finish can be maintained over time if tarnishing occurs, though polished brass will naturally develop a patina unless regularly cleaned. The included 3W LED G9 bulb provides approximately 250 lumens at 3000K, comparable to a 25W halogen equivalent.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating makes the Dryden 2 suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, which covers areas outside the shower enclosure or bath splash zone. It is not rated for use directly above a bath or inside a shower cubicle (zones 0 and 1).

Yes. The Dryden 2 includes one 3W LED G9 bulb at 3000K colour temperature. The bulb is replaceable and accepts any standard G9 LED up to 3W.
