Description

The Drawing Room wall uplighter is a single-light fitting with a fluted pressed glass bowl set into a die-cast aluminium frame finished in walnut. The glass sits within a fretwork band of overlapping arches, and the bracket base features a fluted pedestal detail. An E14 bulb (sold separately, max 40W) sits inside the bowl, casting light upward through the glass.

Designed for traditional Edwardian-style interiors, the uplighter suits hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where ambient wash light is preferred over direct task lighting. The 102mm projection from the wall allows it to fit in narrower hallways without protruding into the passage, while the 229mm height and 175mm width give sufficient presence on walls between doorways or either side of a fireplace. The walnut finish on the metalwork adds warmth against cream and neutral-toned walls.

The fretwork detailing on the die-cast aluminium frame references early 20th-century British architectural ironwork, and the fluted glass bowl diffuses the bulb light to reduce glare.
