Description

The Knightsbridge SFRLMW is a wall-mounted LED reading light with a flexible gooseneck arm, touch dimmer control, and two USB-A charging ports built into an 87.5mm square matt white screwless faceplate. The 2W integrated LED produces 55 lumens of 3000K warm white light through a 120° beam angle, directed by the adjustable head at the end of a 372mm-long flexible arm.

Designed for bedside walls, hotel headboards, and reading nooks, the reading light mounts flush to a 25-35mm back box with the faceplate clipping onto a separate sub-frame for a screwless finish. Touch controls on the lamp head allow on/off switching and continuous dimming without reaching back to the wall plate. The dual USB-A ports share 5V DC 2.4A output, charging two devices simultaneously at standard USB speed.

The matt white finish coordinates with Knightsbridge's wider Screwless range of switches and sockets, allowing the reading light to blend into a matched installation. The premium-grade steel construction and IP20 rating suit dry indoor environments. The flexible arm holds position when adjusted and returns light to the reading surface without additional support brackets.

Is the LED dimmable?

Yes. The lamp head has touch-sensitive controls that allow continuous dimming from full brightness down to a low night-light level. The Specification table lists 'Dimmable: No' because the unit does not work with wall-mounted dimmer switches — dimming is controlled by the touch sensor on the head.

What back box depth is required?

A minimum 25-35mm back box depth depending on wiring conditions. The 20mm recessed depth of the faceplate adds to this, with the screwless cover plate sitting flush to the wall once installed.

What is the USB charging output?

The two USB-A ports share 5V DC 2.4A total output. When charging two devices simultaneously, the 2.4A is split between them. This is standard USB charging speed, not fast-charge.

Can the arm hold position when adjusted?

Yes. The 372mm gooseneck arm is flexible but holds its position once adjusted, allowing you to direct light onto a book, tablet or pillow area without the head drooping back.
