Description

The Diamond is a 40cm crystal table lamp built around a spherical shade of square-cut clear crystals suspended on a polished chrome frame, with a frosted opal glass diffuser at the top. Three G9 bulbs inside the crystal shade (sold separately) cast light through the faceted crystal, creating scattered reflections across surrounding surfaces. The chrome stem and circular base give the lamp a total weight of 2.5kg, providing stability on bedside tables, console tables and side tables.

Designed for bedrooms, lounges and hallway consoles where decorative accent lighting is needed, the Diamond works as a bedside reading lamp when paired with warm-white G9 LEDs or as ambient accent lighting in a lounge or entrance hall. The 40cm height sits comfortably on a standard bedside table without blocking sightlines, while the 24cm shade diameter provides enough presence to balance wider console surfaces. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

The square-cut crystals are faceted on all sides, so each piece acts as a small prism when lit. The frosted opal diffuser at the top softens direct uplight and reduces glare when the lamp is viewed from above. The polished chrome finish on the base and stem reflects ambient room light during the day, giving the lamp a reflective metallic presence even when switched off. The Class 2 double-insulated construction means the lamp does not require an earth connection during installation.

What bulbs does it take?

The lamp requires three G9 bulbs up to 10W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white G9 LED bulbs between 2700K and 3000K for softer ambient light, or daylight-white LEDs at 4000K for task lighting.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the lamp is suitable for dry indoor locations only and must not be used in bathrooms, wet rooms or other areas where moisture is present.

How is the crystal shade cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulbs to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe each crystal piece with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystals or the chrome frame. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on the crystal.

Is assembly required?

Yes. The lamp ships with the shade, stem and base separated. Assembly involves attaching the stem to the base and fitting the crystal shade onto the stem. Full instructions are provided in the Downloads section above.
