The Desigual Large is a 270mm cube-frame table lamp built around a matt black steel cage that houses a frosted white glass globe at its centre. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) inside the globe, which diffuses light evenly through the frosted glass in all directions. The open-frame construction means the light reaches out beyond the lamp itself, creating ambient wash on nearby walls and surfaces.

Designed for bedside tables, side tables next to sofas, console tables in hallways and windowsills where ambient rather than task lighting is needed, the Desigual fits rooms with low to mid ceilings where the 350mm height sits comfortably without dominating. The 270mm square footprint is stable on most surfaces without taking up excessive space. The lamp is dimmable when paired with a suitable E27 LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing brightness to be adjusted from subtle background light to functional reading light.

The matt black finish on the steel frame absorbs rather than reflects light, which stops glare and keeps the focus on the frosted globe itself. The frame is welded at the corners and sits on four corner feet that lift the cube slightly off the table surface. The frosted white globe contrasts with the black frame geometry, creating a defined silhouette whether the lamp is lit or unlit. At 1.8kg the lamp has enough weight to feel solid without being difficult to reposition.
