Description

The Desigual is a 5-light semi-flush ceiling light built from a matt black geometric framework that supports five frosted white opal globe shades. The metal frame forms a 550mm square grid of open cuboid sections, with each globe positioned at a different height and angle within the structure. The fitting projects 425mm from the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above where a full pendant would hang too low.

Designed for contemporary living rooms, open-plan dining areas and hallways with modern or mid-century interiors, the Desigual provides both ambient and architectural interest. Each of the five E27 bulbs sits inside a frosted globe, diffusing the light source and reducing glare while the matt black framework casts linear shadows that shift across the ceiling depending on the viewing angle. The matt black powder-coated finish on the metal framework absorbs reflections rather than creating specular highlights, keeping the visual focus on the geometry and the lit globes.
