Description

The Deryn is a five-light chandelier built around an inverted diamond-shaped frame in antique grey finish, with five clear seeded glass cylinders arranged around the perimeter. Each light position takes an E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately), housed inside a seeded glass shade that diffuses and softens the bulb filament glow. The frame itself is fabricated from metal with an antique grey powder-coated finish that gives a weathered, aged appearance.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Deryn hangs on an adjustable chain allowing a minimum drop of 483mm and a maximum of 2534mm. The 611mm diameter suits tables or floor areas of approximately 1.8-2.4m width, providing adequate spread of light across the space without overwhelming smaller rooms. The chain length of 1828mm gives flexibility to adjust the pendant height during installation to suit the ceiling-to-table distance.

The antique grey finish on the frame sits between warm brown-grey and cool charcoal, making it compatible with both warm timber and cooler stone or concrete interiors. The seeded glass cylinders carry a subtle bubble texture inside the glass, creating a vintage-industrial character when lit. Seeded glass contains small air bubbles trapped inside the glass during manufacturing, giving a subtle texture and vintage appearance. When lit, the bubbles catch and scatter light, softening the bulb filament and creating a warmer glow than clear glass.
