Description

The Dernessa is a round LED flush ceiling light, a white fabric drum shade 32cm in diameter and 9cm high, set on a white body of plastic and steel. A white diffuser closes the underside of the drum, so the LEDs stay hidden and the light reaches the room through a clean, bright disc. The light source is integrated LED, three lights of 3.6W each, which means there are no bulbs to buy or change. It is rated IP20, and that settles where it belongs: indoors and dry, in living spaces rather than a bathroom or outdoors.

Because it sits close to the ceiling, we see a flush light as the natural choice where headroom is short: a hallway, a landing, a bedroom or a study, or a living room that wants a soft, even light overhead. Each of its three lights gives 320 lumens at 3000K, a warm light that feels comfortable in the evening and keeps a bedroom restful.
