Description
The Denhollow in matt warm white takes the same mid century dome, 500mm across, and pairs a soft off white paint finish with satin gold metalwork. Warm white is a paint colour here rather than a light setting, closer to a chalky cream than a stark brilliant white, which is what stops the dome looking clinical against a white ceiling. The wide shallow shape directs light down and out, making it well suited to a table or worktop. Overall height adjusts from 375mm to 1690mm, one E27 lamp up to 10W in LED sits inside, and the pendant light dims with a dimmable lamp and compatible dimmer.
This is the lighter of the two Denhollow finishes and the easier one to place in a room that is already busy. Over a round breakfast table, in a row above an island, or on a long drop beside a bed, the warm white reads as part of the ceiling rather than a dark shape hanging in front of it. It suits rooms with cream, stone or greige walls, natural wood and linen, and the satin gold inside the fitting warms the light as it comes out. In a small kitchen or a low hallway it takes up far less visual weight than a dark dome.
The dome and fittings are metal, painted in a matt warm white with satin gold detail. Matt paint marks more easily than gloss, so dust with a dry soft cloth and use a barely damp cloth on any marks, drying straight away, and keep solvent cleaners and abrasive pads away entirely. Set the drop before final fixing, and if you are hanging a row over an island, measure each one so the domes line up. It is a Class 1 fitting requiring an earthed supply and a qualified electrician. A matt black Denhollow dome is available if you want more contrast.

Frequently Asked
Is warm white the finish or the light colour?
The finish. It is a soft off white matt paint, closer to chalky cream than a brilliant white, with satin gold detail.
What size is it?
500mm across, with an adjustable overall height between 375mm and 1690mm.
Which bulb does it need?
One E27 screw fit lamp rated up to 10W in LED, dimmable if you want to use a dimmer switch.
How do I clean matt paint?
A dry soft cloth for dust and a barely damp cloth for marks, dried at once. Solvent cleaners and abrasive pads will mark it permanently.
Can I hang more than one?
Yes. Over an island, allow roughly 700mm to 800mm between centres and set each drop before final fixing.
Is it suitable for a bathroom?
No. The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor rooms such as kitchens, dining rooms and bedrooms.
