The 202mm projection from the wall gives enough clearance to prevent the fitting from sitting flush against cladding or brickwork, improving both light distribution and air circulation around the frame. The trapezoid silhouette tapers from 165mm at the base to a narrower top, creating an Arts and Crafts-influenced profile that pairs comfortably with lodge-style, rustic and contemporary rural architecture.

The rubbed bronze finish is applied over steel, giving the frame a matte, oil-rubbed appearance with subtle tonal variation across the surface. This finish ages naturally outdoors, developing a patina over time that deepens the bronze tone. Can it be used in fully exposed locations?

The IP44 rating suits covered or semi-sheltered positions. For fully exposed walls where rain hits the fitting directly, consider a higher-rated IP65 fitting. The Delison performs best under eaves, porch ceilings or covered entrance areas.

How is the rubbed bronze finish maintained?

The rubbed bronze is designed to age naturally outdoors, developing a patina over time. No special maintenance is needed. If you prefer to retain the original tone, wipe the frame occasionally with a dry cloth to remove debris, but avoid metal polishes or abrasive cleaners that would strip the rubbed finish.
