Description

The Delarosa is a 508mm diameter dome pendant with a matt black exterior, champagne bronze chain and canopy, and a white-painted interior that reflects light downwards. A single E27 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the dome, with the light directed through the 508mm-wide aperture at the base. The champagne bronze detailing includes a turned stem between the canopy and the dome, adding a decorative break in the silhouette.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Delarosa provides directional downlight without diffuser interference. The 1829mm chain allows the drop to be adjusted between 430mm minimum and 2259mm maximum on installation, so the pendant can be set 700-900mm above a worktop or table depending on ceiling height. The matt black finish absorbs ambient light during the day and provides a grounding visual anchor in both contemporary and industrial interiors.

The pendant takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 8-15W and 2700K-3000K for dining or task lighting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 1829mm chain allows adjustment between 430mm minimum and 2259mm maximum drop. For positioning over a kitchen island or dining table (700-900mm above the surface), ceiling heights of 2.4m or above work best. The large 508mm diameter also benefits from higher ceilings to avoid visual crowding.

Can the chain be shortened?

Yes. The chain can be shortened during installation by removing links to achieve the desired drop length. Excess chain is typically coiled inside the canopy.

Is the interior finish white?

Yes. The inside of the dome is painted white to maximise light reflection downwards, while the exterior is matt black. This contrast increases the efficiency of the bulb and prevents the fitting from appearing as a dark void when unlit.
