Description
The Debepare is a smoked glass vase with a rounded, egg-like body that swells through the middle and draws in towards a small foot. Ribs twist diagonally around the whole form, catching the light on every ridge. The rim finishes in a soft, wavy edge rather than a straight cut, which keeps the outline relaxed and organic. It stands 21cm tall and measures 18.5cm in diameter, so it is a comfortable size for a sideboard or a shelf without crowding it. At 1.25KG it has a reassuring weight in the hand.
We see it on a mantelpiece, a hall console, a windowsill or the middle of a dining table, anywhere indoors where a little texture is welcome. The opening is 9.5cm wide. That suits a loose handful of stems, a few branches or a small dried arrangement better than a tightly packed bouquet, and it encourages the airy, natural look that feels so easy at home. The smoked tint is a quiet neutral, so it sits comfortably beside warm wood, brass, painted furniture and grey or cream walls. Even empty, the twist of the ribs gives it enough presence to hold its own among books and ceramics.
The body is glass throughout, and glass does not absorb water or stains, so it is an easy material to live with day to day. The smoked colour also softens the view of stems and water through the sides, which keeps an arrangement looking tidy. The ribs carry through to the inside of the vase. After each arrangement we suggest a rinse in warm soapy water and a soft bottle brush to reach the grooves, then a dry with a lint-free cloth to keep the glass clear and bright.

Frequently Asked
How tall is the Debepare vase?
It stands 21cm tall and measures 18.5cm in diameter, a comfortable size for a sideboard, a shelf or the middle of a dining table.
How wide is the opening?
The opening is 9.5cm wide, which suits a loose handful of stems, a few branches or a small dried arrangement rather than a large, tightly packed bouquet.
What colour is the glass?
The glass has a smoked tint, a soft and translucent grey tone that keeps stems visible while looking quieter and warmer than clear glass.
How heavy is the vase?
It weighs 1.25KG, so it feels solid in the hand and has a reassuring weight once it is standing on a shelf or table.
Does it look good without flowers?
Yes. The twisting ribs and the wavy rim give the glass plenty of interest on their own, so it works as an empty decorative piece among books and ceramics.
How should I clean the ribbed glass?
Rinse it in warm soapy water after each arrangement and use a soft bottle brush, because the ribs run inside the vase too and the grooves can hold residue.
