Description

The Dawn is a 455mm square semi-flush ceiling light built around a rectangular brass frame that suspends four opal glass globe shades, each housing an E14 bulb (sold separately). The frame sits 150mm below the ceiling on a matt black canopy, with the lower brass rails mirrored in the top rails to create a double-frame effect. The opal glass diffuses the light from each bulb while the brass frame remains visible as a geometric accent.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.6m where a full pendant would hang too low, the Dawn works over dining tables, in hallways, bedrooms and above kitchen islands where headroom matters. The 455mm footprint suits rooms of 10-15m² without dominating the ceiling plane, and the open frame allows light to spread upward onto the ceiling as well as downward into the room. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor spaces.

The brass finish has a satin tone that sits between polished and antique, pairing with both warm wood interiors and cooler greys without clashing. The matt black canopy and bulb holders provide contrast against the brass rails, defining the geometry when viewed from below. Each of the four E14 bulbs can be individually dimmed if paired with a compatible dimmer, allowing the light level to be adjusted from full task brightness to low ambient.
