Description

The Dawn is a 2 light semi-flush ceiling light built around an open brass frame cage set onto a matt black rectangular canopy. Two opal glass globes sit inside the cage, each housing an E14 bulb (sold separately). The 455mm length and 185mm projection suit rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.7m where a full pendant would hang too low but a flat flush fitting provides insufficient visual interest.

Designed for hallways, bedroom ceilings, landing spaces and smaller living rooms, the Dawn combines the low clearance of a flush fitting with the decorative presence of a caged frame. The open structure allows light to escape through the sides and top as well as through the opal glass, giving more diffuse coverage than a fully enclosed flush fitting. The brass cage and matt black canopy create a two-tone contrast that pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes.

The rectangular cage measures 455mm along its longest axis and 185mm at its deepest point, giving it a footprint that works above a narrow hallway or centred in a typical 3m x 4m bedroom without overwhelming the space. The matt black canopy conceals the ceiling rose fixing and the brass frame is finished in a satin tone that softens reflections under daylight.
