Description

The Davos is a 100mm cube wall light with an integrated 6W LED (3000K warm white, 1100 lumens) and IP54 weather protection, finished in sand black textured metal. The cube projects light from both top and bottom through narrow slit openings, creating upward and downward wash effects on the wall surface without direct glare.

Designed for porches, entrance doors, garage walls and pathway lighting on contemporary and modern properties, the Davos suits locations where a compact fitting is needed but direct light spill onto a path or threshold is not wanted. The bi-directional wash emphasises wall texture and creates vertical lines of light, making it useful for highlighting rendered facades, brick, or dark-painted cladding. The 100mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, reducing the risk of impact damage in narrow side passages.

The sand black finish is a textured matt coating rather than gloss or powder coat, giving the metal surface a slightly granular appearance that reduces fingerprints and weathers without showing wear as quickly as smooth paint. The cube structure is sealed to IP54 standard, providing protection against dust ingress and water spray from any direction, suitable for exposed outdoor positions including coastal locations where salt spray is present. The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm-white range, closer to halogen than daylight-white LEDs.

The Davos is wired directly into mains supply via a rear entry cable gland and mounts onto a standard exterior back box or directly onto the wall surface using the rear plate fixings. The LED is non-replaceable — when the LED reaches end of life the entire fitting is replaced. Mantra rates the LED lifespan at approximately 25,000 hours under typical outdoor use.
