An E27 bulb fitting sits inside the shade and directs light downwards through the open base, with the brass inner reflecting and warming the light before it exits.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, breakfast bars and bedside positions, the Daphne suits compact spaces and narrow interiors where a slimline vertical profile prevents visual overcrowding. What bulb does it take?

The Daphne takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 4-8W and 2700K-3000K to complement the brass inner and rope detailing.

Can it be used over a dining table?

Yes. The 406mm minimum drop works in standard 2.4m ceiling heights when the pendant is hung 700-800mm above the table surface. The downward-focused light provides task illumination for dining without spill into the surrounding room.

Is the rope detailing functional or decorative?

Decorative. The natural rope wraps around the widest section of the conical shade to add texture and visual interest. It does not affect the light output or structural integrity of the fitting.

Can multiple Daphne pendants be installed together?

Yes. The 181mm diameter and slimline profile allow multiple Daphne pendants to be installed in a row over long tables or kitchen islands without visual overcrowding. Spacing of 500-700mm between centres works well for most installations.
