Description

The Danes is a 13x18cm (5×7 inch) photo frame built from polyresin moulded to resemble a mirrored gold border with raised beaded detailing around the inner edge. The frame sits freestanding on desks, mantels and shelves using a hinged rear strut that folds flat for storage or wall mounting if required.

Designed for displaying standard 5×7 inch photographs, the frame suits console tables, bedroom dressers and office desks where a decorative border adds visual weight without overwhelming smaller surfaces. The 1.7cm depth means it sits comfortably on narrow ledges and picture rails. The mirrored panels around the border reflect adjacent surfaces and light sources, creating visual depth in the frame itself beyond the photograph.

The polyresin construction gives the appearance of antique mirror glass and metallic gold leaf without the fragility or weight of actual glass and metal. The beaded trim is moulded into the frame rather than applied separately, so there are no loose components. The gold finish has a slight metallic sheen that catches light without being highly reflective. At 270g the frame is light enough to be handled frequently but weighted enough to remain stable when freestanding on most level surfaces.
