Description
The Dallas is a 5-light wall light built around a polished chrome frame that positions five smoked mirrored glass globes in a cross configuration. Each globe houses a G9 bulb (sold separately) behind smoked glass that reduces direct glare whilst maintaining light output for task or accent applications.
Designed for hallways, living rooms and bedroom feature walls, the Dallas provides directed light in multiple planes rather than diffused ambient light. The 38cm width suits walls with 1.5m or more of clear horizontal space, whilst the 24cm projection keeps the fitting within typical hallway and bedroom circulation zones. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments — bathrooms and outdoor applications are not suitable.
The polished chrome finish on the metal frame provides a high-reflectivity surface that bounces light from adjacent sources and reads as cooler than brushed or satin chrome. The smoked mirror coating on each glass globe softens the light emitted whilst giving the spheres a darker appearance when the bulbs are off, creating tonal contrast against the bright chrome arms. The five-globe arrangement is symmetrical when viewed from the front but projects depth when seen at an angle, adding dimensional interest on feature walls.
The Dallas is part of Maytoni's modern wall light collection, which pairs metal frames with decorative glass treatments across pendant, wall and ceiling fittings. The chrome and smoked glass combination pairs comfortably with contemporary, industrial and mid-century interiors, particularly where cooler metal tones are already present in furniture or fittings.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Dallas take?
The Dallas takes five G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Each bulb can be up to 28W halogen or the equivalent LED output (typically 3-5W LED). Most users pair this fitting with warm-white 2700K-3000K LED G9 bulbs for lower running costs and reduced heat output.
Can this be used in a bathroom?
No. The IP20 rating means the Dallas is only suitable for dry indoor environments. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher ratings depending on zone placement, so the Dallas cannot be used in bathroom installations.
Is the smoked glass effect consistent across all five globes?
Yes. Each globe uses the same smoked mirrored glass treatment, so the tonal consistency is maintained across all five spheres. The mirroring effect is visible when the bulbs are off, creating a darker appearance than clear glass would give.
What wall clearance is needed for the 24cm projection?
The Dallas projects 24cm from the wall when fitted, so it suits hallways, bedrooms and living rooms where at least 1m of circulation space remains after installation. In narrow hallways under 1.2m width, the projection may intrude into the walking zone.
