Description
The Dallas is a 20 light semi-flush ceiling light with twenty amber glass globe shades mounted on a gold-finished metal frame in a molecular branch structure. Each globe houses a G9 bulb (bulbs sold separately, 28W max per socket) and the entire assembly measures 75cm across by 22.5cm in height, designed to fit rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings or higher.
Suited to living rooms, dining rooms and large bedrooms, the Dallas provides distributed ambient light across a wide area through the twenty individual globes. The semi-flush mounting sits close to the ceiling with a 25cm total drop including canopy, making it appropriate for rooms where a full pendant drop would hang too low. The amber glass diffuses the light from each bulb, softening the output and adding a warm tonal quality to the room even when the bulbs themselves are neutral-white LEDs.
The gold finish on the metal frame is a satin-toned gold rather than polished, which reduces glare and reflection under daylight. The molecular arrangement of the twenty arms gives the fitting a three-dimensional spread when viewed from below, rather than a flat disc profile. Each amber globe is approximately 12-14cm in diameter based on the overall proportions visible in the frame, and the glass thickness diffuses the bulb filament or LED chip inside so you see a glowing sphere rather than a visible bulb.
The fitting weighs approximately 4-5kg when fully assembled and requires a ceiling hook or mounting plate rated to support this load safely. The IP20 rating limits the Dallas to indoor dry locations only — not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor covered areas or anywhere subject to moisture.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Dallas take?
The Dallas takes twenty G9 capsule bulbs, each rated up to 28W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit G9 LED bulbs at 2-4W per bulb for energy efficiency, which still provides ample light output across twenty sockets. Warm-white LEDs at 2700K-3000K pair well with the amber glass.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs chosen. The fitting itself is mains-voltage with no integrated driver, so if you fit dimmable G9 LED or halogen bulbs and pair them with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer, the Dallas will dim. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker if connected to a dimmer circuit.
What ceiling height is needed?
The Dallas sits 25cm below the ceiling when fully installed, including the canopy. In a room with a 2.4m ceiling, the lowest point of the fitting will be at approximately 2.15m, which is high enough to walk under comfortably. Rooms with lower ceilings may find the 75cm diameter visually dominant.
How is the amber glass cleaned?
Each globe can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth while the bulbs are off and cool. For fingerprints or dust buildup, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the glass or using spray cleaners that might drip into the bulb sockets.
