Description
The Dafne is a single LED spotlight in a white aluminium cylinder housing with an integrated 10W 3000K LED and an adjustable swivel head. The cylindrical body is 50mm in diameter and 160mm in height, with the lamp head rotating approximately 350° horizontally and tilting vertically to direct light onto specific surfaces, objects or architectural features.
Designed as accent lighting for retail displays, galleries, home offices and living spaces, the Dafne surface-mounts directly to ceilings or walls via a circular backplate and wiring entry point on the rear of the cylinder. The 10W LED output provides focused illumination rather than ambient room lighting, making the fitting suitable for highlighting artwork, shelving, worktops or architectural details without flooding the entire space. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments.
The white aluminium finish gives a clean appearance that sits comfortably in both contemporary and industrial interiors without adding a colour accent to the ceiling plane. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light comparable to halogen, avoiding the cooler blue-white tones of 4000K+ LEDs. The integrated LED cannot be replaced but carries a rated lifespan of approximately 25,000-30,000 hours, equivalent to around 8-10 years of typical domestic use at 8 hours per day.

Frequently Asked
Is the LED replaceable?
No. The 10W LED is integrated into the lamp head and cannot be replaced by the end user. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours, which equates to around 8-10 years of typical domestic use at 8 hours per day.
Can the spotlight head be adjusted after installation?
Yes. The cylindrical lamp head rotates approximately 350° horizontally and tilts vertically, allowing light to be directed onto specific surfaces or objects once the fitting is mounted. The swivel mechanism holds the head in position once adjusted.
What's the beam angle?
The Dafne produces a focused beam rather than wide ambient light, typical of accent spotlights. The exact beam angle depends on the internal reflector design — contact us for technical specification if beam angle is critical to your application.
Can it be mounted on a wall as well as a ceiling?
Yes. The fitting surface-mounts via a circular backplate and can be installed on either ceilings or walls, provided the mounting surface can support the weight and the electrical supply is correctly terminated at the entry point.
