Description

The Curves is a 97cm vertical LED wall light built from two curved matte black aluminium arms that frame an opal silicone diffuser strip. An integrated 21W LED runs the length of the diffuser, casting warm 3000K light both up and down the wall. The black metal frame provides structural definition while the opal silicone softens the LED output into a continuous vertical glow.

Designed for stairwells, hallways, living room feature walls and narrow vertical spaces where conventional fittings would sit awkwardly, the Curves works as both functional wall wash and sculptural accent. The 97cm height creates vertical emphasis in tall-ceilinged rooms without requiring ceiling-to-floor height, while the 21cm width and 6cm projection keep the fitting from intruding into circulation space. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments only.

The matte black finish absorbs reflections and pairs comfortably with dark accent walls, monochrome interiors and spaces where metallic finishes would compete with other elements. The curved profile softens the otherwise linear vertical composition, giving the fitting a fluid rather than rigid character. At 0.6kg the wall light fixes to plasterboard or solid walls using standard fixings supplied with the fitting.

The integrated LED is built into the fitting at 21W on 220V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer switch model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry indoor environments away from direct water contact. It is not rated for bathroom zones or outdoor use.

What ceiling height does it need?

The 97cm height works well in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. It can be positioned at various heights on the wall depending on the desired lighting effect — centred on a feature wall, flanking a doorway, or placed lower to provide task lighting in a hallway.

What colour is the light output?

The integrated LED is rated at 3000K, which is a warm white comparable to halogen bulbs. This colour temperature suits residential interiors where a neutral-warm tone is preferred over cooler daylight tones.
