Description

The Cumbuco is a 400mm square flush ceiling light with an integrated 35W LED panel behind a white acrylic diffuser, set in a white metal frame. The 100mm depth from ceiling to diffuser face makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant or semi-flush would sit too low. The LED panel delivers 2350 lumens at 3000K warm white across a 120-degree beam angle, providing even general lighting without visible bulbs or hotspots.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms (IP rating permitting — see Specification), home offices and low-ceiling living spaces, the Cumbuco replaces traditional bayonet-cap fittings where a compact, low-maintenance light source is needed. The square outline gives a more architectural appearance than circular flush fittings and pairs cleanly with square-edged joinery, tiled ceilings and modern interiors. The white finish on both frame and diffuser blends into white or off-white ceilings, minimising visual intrusion when the light is off.

The acrylic diffuser spreads the 35W output evenly across the 400 x 400mm surface, softening the light and preventing glare when the fitting is mounted in a typical 2.4-2.7m ceiling height. The non-dimmable LED driver operates on 100-240V, covering both UK mains and international installations without requiring a transformer. At 2.4kg, the Cumbuco fixes directly to a standard ceiling rose or junction box using the integrated mounting plate concealed behind the frame.

The 100mm projection makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards. In rooms below 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low, the Cumbuco provides general lighting without reducing headroom.
