The Cuba is a 900mm semi-flush ceiling light built around four circular LED rings mounted on slender black stems that radiate from a central black ceiling plate. Each ring houses an integrated LED band behind a gold-finished interior rim, so when lit the warm 3000K light reflects off the gold surfaces and projects downward through the 120° beam angle.

Designed for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights where a full pendant drop would hang too low, the 350mm overall height positions the rings close to the ceiling while maintaining separation from the surface. The 900mm span suits spaces of 12-18m², including living rooms, dining areas over rectangular tables, and entrance halls. The geometric arrangement of the four rings creates a symmetrical pattern when viewed from below, functioning as both ambient light source and decorative ceiling feature.

The black powder-coated stems contrast with the warm gold interiors of the LED rings, creating visual depth under both daylight and artificial light. The combined 32W output delivers 2400 lumens across all four rings, roughly equivalent to a 150W incandescent fitting but at lower running cost. Is the Cuba dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimmer switches. Attempting to fit this to a dimmed circuit may cause flickering or damage to the driver electronics.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 350mm overall height makes the Cuba suitable for standard 2.4m ceilings, positioning the lowest point of the rings approximately 2.05m above floor level. Rooms with 2.7m or higher ceilings can also accommodate the fitting without issue.

Can the LED rings be replaced if they fail?

The LEDs are integrated into the structure and are not user-replaceable. The fitting carries a 3-year manufacturer warranty and the LEDs are rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, equivalent to around 11 years if used for 6 hours per day.

What size room does the 900mm span suit?

The 900mm diameter works well in rooms of 12-18m². In smaller rooms it may dominate the ceiling plane; in larger rooms above 20m² it can appear undersized unless paired with additional perimeter lighting.
