Description

The Cuadrax is a single-bulb wall light combining a frosted glass cube shade with an antique brass rectangular backplate and arm. The 85mm glass cube features a smooth outer surface with a sculptural interior void that creates depth when the G9 bulb is lit, diffusing light through the frosted glass without glare or hot spots.

Designed for hallways and bedside positions in bedrooms where directional task light is not needed, the Cuadrax provides ambient wash light across a wall surface or into a small room. The 135mm projection from the wall places the light source far enough forward to cast shadow-free light either side of the fitting without the shade touching adjacent furniture or door frames in narrow hallways. The compact 85mm width suits single or paired installation flanking mirrors, doorways or artwork.

The antique brass finish on the metal components shows a darker, aged tone with subtle surface variation that distinguishes it from polished or brushed brass. This warmer, less reflective finish pairs with both traditional interiors and mid-century or transitional schemes where warm metal accents are used without high shine. The fitting takes a single G9 capsule bulb (sold separately) and is compatible with dimmable G9 LEDs where dimmer control is wired into the circuit.

The Cuadrax takes a single G9 capsule bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 3-5W LED G9 in warm white (2700K-3000K) for bedroom or hallway use.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?

The fitting carries no IP rating in the specification, so it should only be installed outside bathroom zones (Zone 0, 1, 2) where moisture and steam are present. It is suitable for use in hallways, bedrooms and living rooms.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, but only when paired with a dimmable G9 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch wired into the lighting circuit. The fitting itself does not include dimming electronics.

How far does it project from the wall?

The fitting projects 135mm from the wall surface once installed. This places the glass cube far enough forward to provide wash light either side of the fitting without the shade interfering with adjacent doors or furniture in narrow hallways.
