Description

The Crystalix is a 201x100cm full-length leaner mirror with a carved white polyurethane frame featuring scrollwork and floral motifs at the corners and midpoints. The frame projects 11cm from the wall when leant and weighs 26kg, giving it enough mass to stand securely without wall fixings on most hard floors and short-pile rugs.

Designed for bedrooms, dressing rooms and hallways where a full-length reflection is needed, the Crystalix leans at a slight angle that typically places the top of the mirror 10-15cm out from the wall at ceiling height in rooms with 2.4m ceilings. The 100cm width provides a full-body view for dressing and outfit checking, while the 201cm height suits rooms with standard or slightly higher ceilings without the mirror appearing undersized.

The white painted finish on the polyurethane frame covers the carved detail evenly, giving a clean appearance that pairs with white, cream, grey and pastel-toned walls. Polyurethane is lighter than solid wood or plaster for the same level of ornamental detail, which keeps the 26kg weight manageable for two people to move and position. The mirror glass is standard float glass with a backing board, not bevelled.

Can this mirror be wall-mounted instead of leaning?

The Crystalix is designed as a leaner mirror and does not have integrated wall brackets or D-rings on the back. Wall-mounting would require aftermarket brackets fitted to the frame, which we do not recommend as it may compromise the polyurethane structure.

What ceiling height is needed?

The mirror is 201cm tall. In a room with a 2.4m ceiling, the leaning angle typically places the top of the mirror 10-15cm out from the wall, leaving clearance. Rooms with 2.2m ceilings may find the mirror too tall to lean comfortably without touching the ceiling.

Is it stable on carpet?

The 26kg weight provides stability on hard floors and short-pile rugs. On thick or shag carpet, the base may sink slightly and reduce stability. Placing a thin board or mat under the base can help distribute the weight on soft floor coverings.

How is the white frame cleaned?

Wipe the polyurethane frame with a dry or barely-damp microfibre cloth. Avoid spray cleaners or polishes in the carved recesses, as residue can build up in the detail and appear as discolouration over time.
