Description
The Crystalix is a 201x100cm leaner mirror with a heavily ornamented polyurethane frame finished in dark gold. The frame projects 11cm from the wall and carries ornate relief work across its full perimeter — scrolled corners, floral motifs, acanthus leaves and beaded inner and outer edges that give it a Rococo-influenced profile. At 26kg the mirror is designed to lean against a wall rather than hang.
Suited to bedrooms, dressing areas, walk-in wardrobes and entrance halls with floor space to accommodate a 100cm-wide footprint, the Crystalix provides full-length reflection from approximately 1.5m viewing distance. The dark gold finish sits between antique brass and aged bronze in tone, pairing with warm-toned interiors, traditional wallpapers, and rooms where existing metalwork skews gold or brass rather than silver or chrome.
The polyurethane frame construction keeps the weight manageable compared to carved timber equivalents while holding the relief detailing across the entire surface. The mirror glass itself is bevelled on all four edges, creating a slight stepped transition between the glass and the inner frame edge. The 11cm frame depth means the mirror needs to be positioned where the base can rest firmly on the floor and the top lean securely against a flat wall — avoid placing it on thick-pile carpet or where skirting boards project more than 2cm.
The frame is factory-finished and arrives ready to position. Clean the glass with standard glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth; the frame surface can be dusted with a soft dry cloth but should not be exposed to chemical sprays or abrasive materials that might lift the gold finish.

Frequently Asked
Can this mirror be wall-mounted instead of leaning?
The Crystalix is designed as a leaner mirror and does not come with wall-mounting hardware. At 26kg and with an 11cm-deep frame, wall-mounting would require substantial fixings into solid masonry and is not recommended by the manufacturer.
What surface does it need to lean against?
The mirror needs a flat vertical wall and a firm floor surface. It works on hard floors, laminate, short-pile rugs and low-profile carpet. On thick-pile carpet or where skirting boards project more than 2cm from the wall, the base may not sit flush and the mirror may lean at an unstable angle.
How is the frame cleaned?
Dust the frame with a soft dry cloth. For the mirror glass use standard glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth. Avoid spraying chemical cleaners directly onto the frame as the gold finish is a surface coating that may be damaged by solvents or abrasive materials.
What style of interiors does the dark gold finish suit?
The dark gold tone pairs with traditional, classical, Regency and maximalist interiors. It works alongside warm-toned woods, brass or gold metalwork, rich fabric colours and heritage paint schemes. The ornate frame style is less suited to minimalist or Scandinavian interiors where the detailing would dominate the space.
