Crystal Skye 2 Light Mini Pendant - Chrome

The Crystal Skye is a 167mm diameter chrome mini pendant with vertical triangular crystal prisms arranged around a cylindrical chrome frame, housing two 3W LED G9 bulbs at 3000K. The chrome top and base plates secure the crystal rods in position, while faceted crystal elements at the base amplify the refracted light patterns across surfaces below.

Designed for hallways, kitchen islands, bathroom vanity areas and entryways where ceiling height allows a 295mm fitting height plus the adjustable drop, the Crystal Skye works as a single piece above a console table or in multiples spaced 800-1000mm apart along a corridor or island run. The IP44 rating makes it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, provided it sits outside the direct spray zone. The 1829mm wire allows adjustment from 360mm minimum to 2159mm maximum drop on installation.

The triangular crystal prisms catch and split light into spectral patterns that shift with viewing angle and time of day, creating movement across walls and ceilings without mechanical parts. The chrome frame provides a clean metallic edge that pairs with contemporary bathrooms, modern kitchens and mid-century hallway schemes. The two included 3W LED G9 bulbs deliver warm white light at lower running costs than halogen equivalents, with each bulb producing approximately 250 lumens.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating makes the Crystal Skye suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, which means it can be installed outside the immediate shower or bath spray zone. It should not be positioned directly above a bath or within the shower enclosure itself.

Are the bulbs replaceable?

Yes. The pendant uses standard G9 LED bulbs (2 x 3W 3000K included). If a bulb fails, replacement G9 LEDs are available separately from Niori and most lighting retailers.

How is the drop adjusted?

The 1829mm wire is shortened during installation by coiling the excess cable inside the ceiling rose or canopy. The minimum drop is 360mm and the maximum is 2159mm. Once installed, the drop cannot be adjusted without removing the canopy and re-wiring.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the consumer unit before cleaning. Wipe each crystal prism gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or water marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, then dry immediately. Avoid sprays, polishes or household cleaners, as residue can dull the faceted surfaces.
